The office has moved from one state to another, from one place to another over time, but now calls its home Princeton, WV. CFS began in 1987 with owner/operator Jim Johnston, a BBS, a little advertising, and a DOS program called Grand Slam!, which was not completed or had a sale until 1988. Since its roots as fresh as the fresh, green grass (none of that astroturf junk!) on a baseball field, Center Field Software has grown with the times, eliminating the good old days of the BBS and moving completely to the Internet, and providing three other rotisserie-style and fantasy sports families: Fast Break!, Power Play!, all of which are now on Windows or Macintosh.

We'd like to thank all of our customers that have stayed with us for the years we've been here. We've had fun, and we hope you've had fun with our software, and we hope you'll keep coming back for the best rotisserie-style and fantasy sports stats packages season after season!
